Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

This is sort of related question - for a wedding anniversary, who is suppose to give the gift? Do spouses trade off every other year and are recycled gifts a faux pas?

No, we don't trade off. He did many good things for me though. We plan to spend our belated 2nd Anniversary at Washing DC then visit the White House. I supposed to give this gift but I'm scared he'll get angry  . For now we are just going to have dinner somewhere at 6PM. I just wanted to crack him up but I'm not certain if makes him laugh or what. I'm not gonna ask the lady to do stupid things other than dancing.

A gift isn't special unless it's not a common everyday thing. :innocent:

My husband is bad with dates, he doesn't remember wedding anniversaries.............so basically he gifts me and pampers me the next day

Jokes aside, he really doesn't remember dates, and this year (in sept) will be our first time together celebrating it, I hope he remembers, even if not, I will make sure to remind him :P

I have a gift planned for this year  , lets see how it will go.

He and I must be related. I can't remember names or dates. I should work for the mob.
