Maddy is on her way. Her plane leaves Manila at 12:45pm Philippines time, April 28, 2009 (12:45am EDT). She will be arriving here in NC at 10:30am EDT April 29, 2009. It has been a long journey for us. Finally, this journey is ending, and a new one is beginning.

I would like to thank everyone on VJ for your advice, and your personal experiences. You have all been a great help in what looks to be a very daunting undertaking.

For those of you just beginning this journey, know that your day is coming. It seems at the beginning that that day will never get here. But it does. And this is the place to talk with others that are in the same stage as you are, and those that have been through what you are going through.

I am looking forward to my Wife's arrival, and the beginning of a new life together.

How exciting! We are very happy for you both!

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

wow congratulations!! :dance: where in Charlotte do u live? hubby bought a house there in Macvean Lane but we will move there by 2012 after his contract with this army..grrr

03.14.2011 -------I-751 sent overnight

03.15.2011 -------package says "Delivered"

03.30.2011 -------ASC Appointment Notice Received

04.22.2011 -------Biometrics Appointment

08.29.2011--------APPROVED! GC RECEIVED!

06.24.2010 - Check cashed

06.28.2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy received (9 days from the day they got our papers)

07.05.2010 - Received Biometrics Schedule (July 26)

08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)
