Yes it's a good idea to do that. You should also get the police report. It would be a good idea to get tax transcripts for the I-134.

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

You can and you should. The more you do now, less later, plus if you run into a problem with something you have plenty of time to work it out.

Hey Preparing I-134 Would be a great idea. I started pulling together old pay stubs and preparding tax return statements... filling out the forms... as you know when you fill out the forms... you should review them and you never know if you have questions on how to answer a certain question. Thats why its always good to give yourself plenty of time.

Wishing you a smooth journey!
