K1 zelene karte vrijede dvije godine, a onda se, ako sve bude kako treba, produzuju na 10 godina.

Sad mi bas ekipa kaze da bih mozda mogla ponuditi ovima na faksu volontiranje, ili ih traziti neko slicno radno mjesto... hm. Nisam dost' pametna. Sto se humora tice, a sto cu drugo, haha... krepala bih valjda da se jos stvarno oko toga zivciram.

Badgerella,nema od nerviranja nista,ja to odavno svatih,neka te i 100 puta odbiju,pa 101. ce te primiti,ja se uverila.

ET,pa gde si ti sta ima?

Moja green card vazi do juna sledece godine,a vec u martu sledece godine podnosimo zahtev za onu od 10 godina,woooohooooo.

Ne znam kako vama,al meni se smotalo toliko brzo,to tek sad vidim.

ET,sto se posla tice,vec polako gledam da malo sredim Cv i sta ima na trzistu,pa se nadam da polako predjem negde drugde,jer kao sto rekoh,zbog slogiranog rasporda uopste nemam vremena da se bavim nekim drugim stvarima.

A o porodiljskom i deci jos ne razmisljamo,mi cemo da cekamo jos nekoliko godina,jos malo da konzumiramo brak,hahhahahhahahhahahhahahha,pa posle polako.

Sto se porodiljnog tice... vrti mi se u glavi kad pomislim na sto to ovdje lici. Najvjerojatnije cemo pricekati jos godinu, dvije.. tri.. (jebemu bioloski sat, haha), osim ako se bas ne zalomi. Idealna situacija je da uspijemo skupiti dovoljno novaca da ostanem doma s djetetom barem sest mjeseci. Ma, kao sto rekoh, boli glava.

Cestitke Malamu i Saska!

Ja sam do sada stvarno probala ne opterecivat se sa svim odbijenicama, ali nakon toliko vremena vise mi nije bas svejedno jer niti 101 put nije uspjesno. Mrzim te automatske odijenice koje salju na mail:

".... We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to select from such a qualified slate of candidates for this position. After careful review and consideration, bla bla bla company will not be able to offer you this bla bla bla position at this time."

Vec pocinjem misliti da nikada necu naci posao koji zelim raditi i s kojim cu moci poceti doprinositi kucnom budzetu...

Koliko sam ja skuzila tu cure rade do dva tjedna prije poroda (bez obzira koji posao rade), i nakon 6 tjedana je potpuno normalno vratiti se na posao (ili i ranije)....Znaci sve skupa dva mjeseca i opet koa da nisi niti rodila. Meni se vise svida ideja biti godinu dana doma :)

Zadnja trudnica koju sam upoznala (isla je jedna sa mnom na aqua aerobic) radila je do dana kad je rodila. A zahvalna je bogu i ljudima i poslodavcu sto ce moci ostati doma s bebom puna - 3 mjeseca. Meh.

Da,da da to sam i ja cula,ako dobijes dva meseca-plafon!!!!

Nema to kao kod nas tamo,te trudnicko,pa porodiljsko,pa skoro dve godine.

Jok,ima da rmbas dok ne pocnu trudovi.

Zato ja o deci jos i ne razmisljam,minimum jos 5 godina,a sat,posto ga Badgerella pomenu,nek otkucava,pa sta ja mogu.

Zivimo u jednosobnom stanu,pa i nisu neki uslovi za dete,tako da sve u svemu,to bi nam zaista bilo previse sada i za ove uslove

Jao pa vi to tek sada ucite pomalo. Moja strina je radila sve do nedelju dana pre nego sto se porodila na poslu dje dize vrece po 50lb. A poslje toga je imala samo mjesec dana od posla ostalo uzela je neplaceno.

Sto se tice mene i trudnoce mi planiramo prve tri godine da radimo i uzivamo u braku a tek onda planiranje porodice.

Ma ja bih cekala isto par godina, ali mislim da nemam bas puno vremena da cekam hahha. No, necu da se opterecujem sa trudnocom toliko, da se ne bih razocarala. Mislim, voljela bih imat vise od jednog djeteta, ali se bojim da za drugo mozda bude kasno poslije. :P A kazu sto si starija to su vece sanse za twins, pa ko zna. :P

I mi cekamo na djecu - jos 2 godine dok muz ne zavrsi sa vojskom i skolom. Posto sam i sama blizanka povecavaju mi se sanse za blizance a i muz u porodici isto ima blizanaca. Ma divotica :star:

Zasad uzivamo samo nas dvoje i dvije macke.

Pocinjem odbrojavati dane do prijave za drzavljanstvo - jos samo 19 dana!

Moja sestra je blizanka (druga beba je umrla nakon poroda), tetka moje mame (sa majcine strane) je imala blizanke. Tatina sestra ima blizance. Tako da mislim da i ja imam sanse. :D

Znaci, sa K1 zelenom kartom, posle 2 godine ponovo saljes papire za AOS, odnosno za zelenu kartu na 10god? Izvinite sto gnjavim, pokusavam da razumem.

Da, da...znam da je porodiljsko max 3 meseca...No, i ja sada o tome sve manje razmisljam, mada bih zaista volela bebu sto pre! S druge strane, posto me ceka potpuno novo okruzenje i klima, drugacija hrana, zdravstveni sistem i izgleda mnogo kidanja zivaca, mislim da cemo i mi izazivati sudbinu!

Druga stvar koja me izludjuje je sto cesto kada nesto spomenem moj muz kaze da nije bezbedno!!! Voznja autobusom...not safe! Setnja u vecernjim casovima...not safe! Ako se auto pokvari na auto-putu, to je...very unsafe! :angry: Mozda je Houston malo vise nebezbedniji. Mislim, moj muz nije neko ko preteruje, pa verujem da ovo nije daleko od istine!

Sta vas je u Americi prijatno iznenadilo? :D

Kod nas je prilicno sigurno, navodno do te mjere da... ja padam na guzicu. Ja bih sve redom pozakljucavala i zablindirala (dolazim iz Zagreba, jelte, koji nije pretjerano nesiguran, ali opet je dovoljno velik itd...), a oko mene sve neki pacifisti i djeca cvijeca. :)

Mi bas i nemamo nesto previse blizanaca u obitelji, ali ja se ne bih bunila. Jednog dana, jelte.

ET, dobro si pohvatala. Prva zelena karta, koja se izdaje K1 ljudima, traje dvije godine. Nakon toga se ide na desetgodisnju, ali se nakon sveukupno tri godine moze podnijeti zahtjev za naturalizaciju (drzavljanstvo).

Sto se tice onoga sto me u Americi odusevilo, razveselilo, nazivciralo... nalazi se ovdje, sve detaljno opisano u prvom podforumu (Stranger in a Strange Land). Sve (koji to vec nisu) jos jednom pozivam da nam se pridruze na forumu. :)
