Does anyone know if the Letters of Affadavit that are signed and notarized by witnesses who had knowledge of the marriage needs to be handwritten or can it be typed that goes with the I-130? Thanks.

It doesn't matter if it's typed or hand written. No need to notarize. Frankly, no need for any affidavits.

Hello everyone, regarding the I-130 Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage, is there a specific format for the 'sworn affidavits', standard form or official form that we should use?:

#5 Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship (Each affidavit must contain the full name and address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or herknowledge of your marriage); or

Does it need to be notorized?

Does it matter what country they are from?

No, it does not i got my friend of many years who knows about me and my husband to write a letter stateing how she knows me and my husband and that are realtionship is true and she singed,dated and put her home address and phone number on it and thats it.

You neaver know some people may need affidavits if they think they do not have alot of prove of the realationship. I only had pics and Airline tickets to prove my realation- ship, so i did get an affidavit of suport just in case they wanted more prove, better to do what i can then been asked for more prove and it worked
