well, still havent managed to really get started. Just answering emails so far...thats very hard work ya know :P:devil:

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Spent the last week trying to get necessary info from another office to complete something. Back and forth trying to explain what I needed all week. Get an answer. Explain that is NOT what I need and its not even remotely applicable. Just got a new detailed fax that says the same f ing thing that I was given last week. Have to send another email detailing yet again, what I need. ####### is wrong with ppl FML

Official congrats to C :thumbs::dance::thumbs: YAYYYYYYY for being out of the dark tunnel!!

Here is my POE review as well:

The POE at JFK was very quick and easy. I went on the visitors line with my wife, we were immediately taken by an Immigration Officer. He ripped open the sealed envelope, quickly reviewed all the documents, and took digital fingerprints of my wife's right hand. The IO then stamped my wife's passport with I-551 for 2 years. At this point we were asked to go to the end of the hall and around the baggage claim area to another officer with all of our documents. We handed her the documents, and she asked us to take a seat. Not even a minute later, my wife was called up again, the officer took a fingerprint of my wife's index finger on her right hand, and stamped our customs declaration form, and we were done.

The process took less than 10 minutes, and was very quck and easy. It actually took us longer to wait for our bags then it did to go through immigration and customs. :) :) :) :)

Congrats to guru and wifey! Nice to hear things went so smoothly!! :)

Hi everyone! Just want to inform you that I landed in my husbie's arms safely yesterday!

HI ALL

I'm here. I didn't have internet in Costa Rica. We went for the interview.... I need to go back to Costa Rica for another interview for me.... They wanted me back next week but I just can't do that. I don't have a dollar to my name.

I am exhausted and I am sick. I went to work yesterday. My bosses found out that I am sick and they sent me to the doctor on campus. Two doctors grilled me about my symptoms and then told me I had to go home and not come back til Monday. They also called the Health Authority and reported me. Got a call from the Health Dept and they told me to go see my family Doctor. I don't have health insurance so NO CAN DO. I have flu like symptoms. I am sure I got the virus from the nasty people on the plane...ICK.. but all the panic about Swine Flu is making everyone crazy.

Congrats to everyone for all that has happened while I was away. Tucho has to wait another year.

Hey Jenn!

glad youre back.

Sorry you are so sick. Will they let you come back to work without a doc note? You can go to a sliding scale clinic if you dont have insurance.

Everyone is panicking about swine flu, if you have traveled ANYWHERE and have flu like symptoms, they will want to be tested for swine flu. A friend at work just came back from FL and since there was ONE reported case there, they tested her for it oi vey

So, if you dont go back, what does that mean? Is the year wait the waiver? Why do they want YOU to come back for an interview?!

Thanks!
