What papers are needed for an AOS?

My husband (we married last week, so I'm still getting used to calling him that!) and I met in grad school in 2006 while he was on a student visa, here in the US. We are now both graduated, living together, and he is working legally here (through OPT that will expire in October of 2009). We are very confused about what forms we need to file to adjust his status, but want to get it started ASAP. What is our first step? What forms are needed in our situation? Also, if he is legally working, can we file his income as part of the affidavit of support? I made good money last year, but was laid off in February.
