Question Regarding Canadian Citizen

Hello, i have searched for allot of information on this without getting any good answer.

I tried to get in contact by phone with the consulate to learn that they don't service phone call anymore...

Here is my question...

I am currently waiting my K-1 visa.

we are at the step where we have to wait for it to be sent to Canada. (NOA2)

It is gonna take a while and i want to go to the US still in the mean-time.

Knowing the fact that i don't need a visa to enter the US can anyone tell me if it really does a big deal if i go for 2 week ?

As long as you don't have your visa yet you are free to come and go as you please, provided you don't overstay. Make sure that you have a return ticket and I've found its also a good idea to have a recent bank statement.

Have fun adn gratz on making it into the NOA2 stage. I'm so jealous!

or do they not keep track of the record when i pass the airport security

It won't delay your petition. I remember reading about that on the Homeland Security website, you can and SHOULD is what it said. They might have access to that when you go through the airport security but be completely honest if they ask. You arn't doing anything wrong so it shouldn't be an issue whatsoever.

I visited my fiance after the NOA2 was issued, it sure was a nice reunion present! lol! anyways, just make sure you bring proof of ties to Canada, such as lease, employment letter. I was never asked for it the last time I went through airportcustoms, but its Murphy's law if you don't have ties they will ask for them. My previous visits were all land borders and I got more grief there. The VJ Canada Wiki has some advice on visiting while K-1 is pending.

Congratulations on filing and may you have your NOA2 soon!

Make sure you have proof of going back: return ticket, lease, maybe a letter from your employer if you work or from your school if you are a student. Make sure you have enough money with you - bank statement or cash, they asked me about it too.
