Sending important documents to Mexico

My fiance is in a very small town in Mexico, and I am in the US. I will not be accompanying him to his open appointment interview and I need to get all the paperwork I have down to him somehow. The postal service has been very unreliable with mail I've sent to him previously, I've even tried registered mail. Part of the problem is they don't even deliver to his house, he has to go into the main town to pick up mail.

Any suggestions? FedEx? DHL? Something else? I need something safe and fairly fast (like 7 day shipping would be awesome).

Thanks!

Fed Ex

I think DHL no longer is in USA

I have seen many of their Vans and trucks at Wholesale Car Lots in Dallas.....

I like to use DHL. I know that they no longer have regular service in the US(receiving and delivering within the US), but I was under the impression that they still ship from the US to other countries. Call and ask. Otherwise, I'd use FedEX. Make copies and be sure to track it.

Also, depending on what it is and if originals are required you could probably FAX or scan the documents for much cheaper.

DHL is still in the USA, they just don't offer domestic services anymore. They're still #1 for international shipments though, they can move pretty much anything anywhere in 3-5 days.

July 2007 - met Jesse at a beach party held by mutual friends in Long Island, NY

May 2008 - J-1 visa expired, had to move back to Australia

July 2008-September 2008 - lived with Jesse for three months in Staten Island, NY

March 2009 - Jesse comes to Australia for 3 weeks

April 2009 - Engaged!

05/20/09 - I-129F petition mailed in

Manuel and I have the same situation. His village does not have mail delivery. (They only have like 140 people that live there) I have tried the different carriers and they were returned to me 'undeliverable'. The only way I could get his papers delivered was by using UPS, and the UPS driver had to get in touch with Manuel so they could arrange a place to meet. It took 14 days for his paperwork to get to Manuel and the package made several trips to different cities in Mexico. Where Manuel lives is considered a 'remote location'. ( For the immigration paperwork we had to use his uncle's address in a different town. We are hoping he will get them

Just thought I'd let you know about our experience in case your other options don't work.

Good luck!
