Morning everyone!!

Its chilly here in Chicago this morning, Im up nice and early for work...Blaaaa working on a sunday is no fun!!! We have been busy here getting ready for zaids 1st birthday party! We got him a huge wooden swingset with a tree fort on friday, a child size picnic table, and a little tykes play house for outdoors. He has been having so much fun and its so cute seeing him interact with other kids while playing. We got him a mini quad yesterday but will not be giving him that until his actual birthday on wednesday. Being 1 is soo much fun!! lol

We've got friends coming over for lunch so I've got TOO MUCH house cleaning to do in a short amount of time. Nothing like impending company to light a fire under your butt!!!!!!!

The visit went good. We ended up going out to lunch and then she presented me with a new lawn mower.

Good morning everyone. We bought an unfinished entertainment center a few days ago, so our project is going to be staining that.

I can't wait till our little one has his first birthday. It will be nice to see him excited about getting gifts. Now when we buy him a new toy, he throws it down and crawls to the foyer and starts biting on shoes.

I can clean an entire house in less than 10 minutes when I get an unannounced call that someone might stop by, and then they never show up....

Good Morning I still have my cough. I think it might be going away soon.

Today Tarik and I are going to the gym and cleaning the house today. He's also going to apply for a second job. Inshaallah he gets it.

I think I finally figured out what I want to do with my life! I want to be a teacher. I'm so excited

well i survived the bday party yesterday...nothing is worse than about 20 "6 year olds" in a room plus with all those inflatables on (the noise was so loud) you literally had to shout just to talk to the person right next to you. i'm surprised i still have a voice..lol

I bought a new one Friday evening, when I got home rained like cats and dogs, so there went cutting yard on Saturday or much less today. UGH!!!! April showers, May flowers, more like WEEDS, WEEDS & more WEEDS.
