Do we really need to submit another copy of the Employment Certificate from the petitioner along with the Affidavit of Support??

If so, does this letter of Employment needs to show his salary?

We were just wondering cause we thought those documents were already in the brown envelop that we submit to the Immigration upon entering the US..

Thank You in advance for the replies..

God Bless.. :yes::yes::D(L)

For AOS (Adjustment of Status) you must submit different forms - in those forms is a different affidavit of support (the I-864) and you must submit evidence to support what ever information you supply on the form. The 'brown' envelope has nothing (really) to do with adjusting status.

As for employment letter - it is not required - you can supply other proof (such as pay stubs, tax returns, etc).

thank You..

So it means that the w2 will be ok without the employment letter of my husband??

Employment letter is not required. W-2's by themselves are not proof, they are supporting document(s) for an Income Tax return. Pay stubs would also be a good idea. :thumbs:
