Do you wear a wedding ring?

The Mrs and I always wear our rings, unless somethings causes physical issues..ie hand injury from work or other issues related to swelling. They are custom with an Irish Gaelic inscription that Danette and I came up with and transcribed to the jeweler.

I read that titanium would be the "warrior in the jewlery world" if there was one. Do you think this is accurate? My husband is an MMA fighter and spends a lot of his time punching/sparring and so his silver ring is getting damaged at a much faster rate than usual. So I'd like to buy him a new ring.

Do you think that a titanium wedding band would be a good choice?

Yes we wear wedding bands and we wear them all the time. As a matter of fact my husband went on a wedding band spree and bought me about 4 bands and 3 sets. He has about 11 bands. Seems over the top but we got them at great prices and they are not all gold. We change which ones we wear depending on the occasion. I have a white gold set with a tanzanite stone which is my birth-month stone and we have another white gold with blue sapphire and diamonds around it. Now the reason we have so many is not because we are rich, on the contrary I have only one white gold band and the other bands are made from stainless steel, titanium and a beautiful silver set. I mix and match and wear bands on both left and right hand. Both white gold engagement rings came at a great price from BIDZ.com where you can get engagement and wedding sets that cost over $3,000 at one-tenth the value with authentication.

I just wear my engagement ring. Neither of us have wedding bands.

Yes we both wears ours all the time. Mine's a half eternity band set in platinum and his is a gold milgrain band with platinum inlay.

I wear mine with my engagement ring, both on my left hand.. but my right hand is feeling a little left out.. hmm time to convince my husband I need a RHR?

No - it doesn't fit me any more! I used to wear it whenever I went out of the house but then it got too small... and then I lost a whole bunch of weight and now it's way too big! Plus I got a rash on my finger where my rings went because I have super-sensitive skin. I'd still like new rings though just so I could wear them for special occasions.

Purchased the rings already, and yes we will both wear them daily. For me (F USC), I will only take it off to sleep (my hands swell) and clean, as I do already with my engagement ring and family heirloom RH ring.

As a side note, we're following American custom and will wear them on our left hands (as opposed to in Germany which wears them on the left for the engagement and moves them to the right when wed).
