Just make sure your connecting flight is not through Mexico City. :jest:

Wash your hands before touching your eyes, nose, or mouth and you will avoid most transferable diseases.

Who tagged it Swine Flu? The Media? It is a combination of swine flu, bird fli, and human flu strains. NBC News

hahaha...i'm in Cali and my husband was all worried and told me not to go outside or go near Mexicans lol...i was cracking up and also because the gardeners (Mexican) were doing the lawn at the time and I was eating Mexican food for lunch...It was really funny. But from what i've read it's been symptoms of a cold or flu and I thought because a lot of the Mexicans don't have "good" health, they are dying...don't know.

More myth busters:

Q: What is swine flu?

A: Pigs spread their own strains of influenza and every so often people catch one, usually after contact with the animals. This new strain is a mix of pig viruses with some human and bird viruses. Unlike more typical swine flu, it is spreading person-to-person. A 1976 outbreak of another unusual swine flu at Fort Dix, N.J., prompted a problematic mass vaccination campaign, but that time the flu fizzled out.

Q: So is it safe to eat pork?

A: Yes. Swine influenza viruses don't spread through food.

So much for the Philippine ban on US Pork my wife mentioned.
