California Service Center RFEs have been sent out

My guess is that the RFEs did not get sent on the same day that the senators were told. Not that it matters a lot, but I think CSC was fudging a little bit.

Yup, from looking at other CSC people who received their RFE, June 23rd looks to be the notice date. Its just nice to know that there is an RFE with my name on it somewhere, hopefully in the mail :D

It is funny the different answers the people at the CSC give to the senators. Awhile back I called my US house rep on the day that the USCIS gave their Public notice and was told there is no such thing as IMBRA and that I should not read sites like this because they are totally inaccurate. That caseworker was crazy!

So has anyone who was transferred from Nebraska to CA received their RFE yet? It might just be a coincidence but it looks like only those while filed directly with CA have gotten them . . . or maybe I should just stop thinking about this . . .

I filed in Nebraska and was told my RFE is on the way from my senator. I think they probably will be reaching us soon depending on the date they mailed them.

I was just wondering, if I have a lawyer will the RFE be sent to her or to me? She recieved my NOA1 but I recieved the transfer from Nebraska to California notices.

chimi, same thing happen to me. My lawyer told me the RFE will come to them. He thought it was odd that I got the transfer and not them. But well who knows what the USCIS will do.

My guess is that the RFE is coming to me because the lawyer is in Cali and has not got it. Who knows. My head is starting to hurt from all this thinking. hehehehheehe :wacko:

devilette just an update, i got my rfe. the notice date says June 23 on it. but it was mailed out (stamped by the post office of laguna niguel) on June 27. im hoping you get yours soon! it should come!

i checked my online status and it's last touched date is still on march 20. i havent gotten any touches nor emails from uscis since that date that i got the online account to USCIS.

dont lose hope... its going to come soon. i hope within the week.

Thanks. I hope it will, its just weird that no NSC transfers have any yet....and I'm STILL waiting to hear from my senator's office. She called CSC on MONDAY! :(

I'm thinking the lack of NSC RFEs received means they did all the cases filed at CSC, maybe mailed them Friday, then started work on the NSC transfer cases. I hope they are in the mail as well... =)

Still patiently (or not so) waiting for my RFE...

I'm definitely not an expert on any of this, and maybe I'm just trying to be optimistic here...but I'm thinking the reason none of the NSC transfers have received their RFE's are because geographically, we're all in the Midwest. It makes sense to me that everyone who had originally filed with Nebraska are quite a bit further away from California than the people who originally filed there. Like I said, maybe it's just optimism, but I'm hoping mine is in the mailbox today. If not today or tomorrow, my theory isn't right! Good luck everyone!

I have been told twice by my Senator that my RFE was sent out last friday. He said he got the info straight from the CSC specifically about my case number. Unless it was a bald face lie by the USCIS or the Senator then mine should be here soon.

That supposition about the fact you're further away than cali is just plain BS. It only take a few days by USPS for regular mail to make it from one end of the country to the other. And if you're in the same state as it was sent, it still takes a couple of days. Longer distance only adds maybe one day to the wait.

It's not the friggin pony express FFS! They've got those new-fangled airplane thingies...

Gary I think CSC lied to your senator, and when we got tranferred they really did place us on the bottom of the stack.

You don't have to be so mean about it. It is only one day later at this point. Everyone is frustrated...not just you. I'm trying to be optomistic here. That's one thing I hate about this website....we're all just trying to help each other, but some people are just out to criticize and attack others.

i hear ya. i also think that since a bunch that people have received were postmarked on tuesday, it makes sense that they could get to maybe the southern california area within 24 hours, but probably not other states...
