A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

What a bummer. So the next time is when you come over to get hitched?

I have no money (graduated last year in London) either.

Summer fares are insane! I paid $1000 but had a $400 voucher. Still, tight times with the $$.

Haven't seen my fiance since Dec 30th 05-- six months. He couldn't come because he would need a tourist visa. I couldn't go because I have a hectic job. But I am going on 29th June to be with him for 3 weeks.... I wish I could take care of the RFE before I left......I will try to forget all about CSC, IMBRA etc. and just enjoy my time.

I-751 process:

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.

That's so sad. :(

I feel lucky that England is a VWP countries AND that they have good airfare deals sometimies.

I wish I could snap my fingers and send you guys to your honeys.

Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.

Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.

Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.

Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.

Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

This gives me an idea for a poll!! Stay tuned!!

Airfares to Germany are $1200-1300 RT now.... $700 in October... $600 in November.... winter is definitely off-season I guess.
