EAD question

I know that 90 days after NOA, if EAD hasn't been received then we can make an Infopass appointment. We just received AOS interview date, which is exactly 100 days from when our packet was received, and about 94 days from when we received NOA for EAD and AOS.

He thinks that we may not receive EAD since interview date is so soon.

Should we schedule Infopass appointment if we aren't approved for EAD before AOS interview? I am keeping faith that we will be approved, but you never know how things are with this crazy process.

If it were me, I would get the interim EAD. There are many who have had to wait months after their interview, going though security checks, before the green card is actually issued.

That's funny...I was going to post the exact same question. As I said in your other thread, our interview date is (more or less) 90 days from our NOA1...I figure we might not get EAD either. But there's always a possibility that we won't get the stamp on the day of our interview.

I think if we don't have the EAD two weeks before the interview, I'll make an Infopass appointment for the day after our interview. Then we can cancel it if we get the EAD or the stamp, but if we don't, we can still get the interim EAD - hopefully.

I seriously think this is a ploy to keep our $180!

Our interview is two weeks on Thursday - but we are still going to apply for an interim EAD THIS Thursday, day 93, two weeks before the interview.

Did your husband get his corrected EAD, yet? My wife has an infopass appointment this week for a spelling error on her card.
