Too many hidden charges in PAL or other carriers in PI to figure real cost of ticket

A few weeks ago there were smoking deals on round trip to PI from USA

Like $900 from DFW to MNL

yesterday my hubby found a deal $788 round trip ticket from denver-manila... thats for may 12 till the end of the month... good deal but gosh not sure if we really want to spend this time good to visit phil though. really tempting

Pal Express will rip you off with excess baggage fees, they charged me and my wife $80.00 excess baggage (3 small Bags) for a one hour flight two weks ago. I will never use Pal Express again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For anyone that knows this, please. Is it cheaper to fly from Manila into Las Vegas, rather than LA? Even if it's about the same, I think that would be easier for me to pick up my fiance in LV. Plus, I darn sure feel a lot safer there, LOL.

I live in LV and noticed that most airlines are cheaper flying in to town. Deal with casinos and the LV visitors and convention authority? who knows

My first trip to PI I stopped in LA to get on PAL.

I hated LAX, Horrible airport. Crowded, Rude People.....

My last couple of trips to PI, I went from DFW to Las Vegas onto PI.
