help for report marriage certificate...

not so sure kung anung talagang tanong mo sis.. yun bang CENMAR yung tinutukoy mo? Try mo i-post in tagalog ;)

hello vj member i have something to ask if there's needed to report marriage certificate in Us embassy even we married here in Phils?????? is it true? just confused... help plssss

I-130 Application

09-06-2007 - Sent the I-130

01-02-2008 - Recieved NOA1

05-01-2008 - NOA2 approved!

05-09-2008 - Recieved hard copy of NOA2

05-16-2008 - Recieved the AOS Fee Bill with Manila Case number

05-18-2008 - Sent Choice of Agent via email

07-29-2008 - Recieved IV bill from the mail

09-10-2008 - Paid the I864 bill and IV bill

09-16-2008 - NVC mailed the Instruction packet agent to my hubby

09-28-2008 - Received hard copy of the instruction packet agent

09-29-2008 - Received the I864 packet

03-02-2009 - Hubby sent the I864 and DS230 to NVC

03-06-2009 - NVC received I-864, under review

03-10-2009 - NVC received DS230, under review

03-13-2009 - I-864 complete, still reviewing the DS230

03-19-2009 - Under NVC final review, the operator told me that i need to redo my DS230

03-23-2009 - CASE COMPLETE!!!

03-25-2009 - GOT A MAY 7 INTERVIEW!!!

03-26-2009 - received appointment letter from NVC through email

03-31-2009 - 1st day Medical

04-01-2009 - 2nd day Medical. PASSED!

04-02-2009 - NVC sent docs to USEM

05-07-2009 - USEM Interview.. VISA APPROVED!!!

05-12-2009 - Finally got my VISA!!!

05-27-2009 - Flight to OK

A marriage certificate is not required to be filed with the Embassy after a marriage in the Philippines just NSO but it is a good idea to do it since eventually it will need to be because of Social Security issues and Tax purposes unless you do a visa petition. Once you submit the Marriage certificate to the USCIS and NVC it is registered anyway.

A marriage certificate is not required to be filed with the Embassy after a marriage in the Philippines just NSO but it is a good idea to do it since eventually it will need to be because of Social Security issues and Tax purposes unless you do a visa petition. Once you submit the Marriage certificate to the USCIS and NVC it is registered anyway.

thanks to enlighten me, i thought it is necessary, coz some poeple told me that, but i dont believe with them. that is why i asked here this furom. they really confused me... thanks again... MMW.

thanks to the other reply me sorry if my english not so fluent coz i am not perfect to just practizing atleast someone understand me what i asking.....

Hey! dont get me wrong CG2mom......I never said that I didnt understand your english... I am just confuse of what you are really trying to ask....Sometimes understanding english gives me headache...ive read your question like 5 times, but im really still confuse and I dont know if I will give you the right answer....God knows I really wanted to help but sometimes my stupidity fails me to understand...but anyways,your question has been answered :thumbs:

that is fine mariel, ksi nahirapan tlaga ako mag explain ng english hehehe,, yup nasagot na nya ung tanung ko.. gusto ko sana post sa tagalog kaso lng baka bawal kya nag english na lng kme kahit baluktot...akala ko ksi kelangan kelangan i report ung marriage certifecate , di pala, ksi un sabi ng iba sa akin kelangan daw report sa USem Kya nalilito me.. pero ung MC namin naka NSO na .. kya ang kukuninon ko na lng marriage index sa Nso...pasensya kna rin nalilito ka rin sa tanung ko hallll sge thnx and tc god bless you..

Yup i did 5 copies marriage certiicate from nso that is why i got more copies because i know that is needed to nvc,USem. and etc... thanks for the reply poh.

Ok lng un raeka, naintindihan ko naman lahat naman tau may kanya kanyang mood diba.. pero thnx na rin sa reply mo.. pasenya din sau kung nalito ka rin...Hindi ako magaling mag english eh, kya sinubukan ko.. at time na un blanko utak ko kung ano ang sasabhin ko sa english...

sge raeka.. salamat at goodluck sa interview coming...mabuti pa ikaw makapunta na ng US soon magkakasama na kau.. kme di pa waaaaaaa...

kapatid, nag-e-expire itong NSO copies sa Pinas ha... paalala lang... baka sobrang aga mo kumuha. Pero oks lang din yan, kase sobrang kelangan sa lahat ng papeles din dito sa pinas, like SSS... passport renewal, etc.

Thanks sis!! lam ko un hanggang 6 months expired nya.. pero ok lng un pwede naman ako kumuha ulit if kelangan na sa USem.. kya lng me kumuha nun ng 5 copies. ksi kinukuha nila ung original nung kumuha ako ng passport. at pinadala ko rin sa asawa ko. at iba pa na kelangan d2 sa pinas....
