Anyone going back to Vietnam this summer? I'm going on June 11th. Just wondering how many of us are going back to see the other half. It's gonna be fruit season there and I can't wait to devour all of my favorite. I heard that "Vu Sua" is gone by the time I get there but it's okay because "Mang cut =mangosteen" going to make up for it. Mouth is all watery talking about it. YUUMMMM!!!

I just got back April 15th, but I'm going again in early August. My fiancee's son in-law has several măng cut trees in his yard. Can't get any fresher than that! :P

I'm going back in July to stay for a year. We are taking over a smoothie shop from guys that are renting the first floor of the house that Hanh's sister owns. We are going to add coffee and some food. I'm kinda looking forward to opening our own business.

Anh Loi,

You don't need to go back to Vietnam to see your wife man, She could probably be there with you in the US as early as next week after her interview! Good Luck.

No "nuoc da = ice water" please. hehehee

Well, since it's so hot in Saigon, it's good to have ice water anyway!

LOL no... not Ice Water. My specialty is a frozen strawberry banana smoothie. I made it for everyone and they loved it. It's almost like a milkshake. I wouldn't tell the guys that run the smoothie shop now how I make it. I also do a natural Slurpee/Slushy :)
