Signature Question on I-864EZ & DS230

I wanted to confirm with the community here whether there is a requirement to notarize the signatures on the following forms prior to submission ?

I read the instructions and it doesn't specify anywhere and I was wondering what succesful applicants have been doing.

I-864EZ - Affidavit of Support (page 5, Part 6, item 21)

DS-230 - Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration ( Page 2, Part I)

I just mailed my ds230 today and i didn't notarized it.. my friend also mailed her ds230 last week so far there is no result yet..i guess no need to notarized the forms...

We didn't for I-864.

We just mailed the I-864 for both my parents and we did not have the notarized. We have the DS-203 ready to go and it is not notarized either.
