Well my Fiance just got packet 3 (1 YEAR after we applied!) and now I am confused. Do we have to re-submit all the same information????

They are asking him for proof of relationship, birth certificate, police records, etc... All the stuff we ALREADY submitted!

Then there are some pages he thinks I am supossed to fill out dealing with where I live and work, how much money I make, Etc. We already submitted that stuff tooo!

I'm sooo confused!

And why would they send him papers for ME to fill out when I am in the US????

Please help me, since I have not seen these papers I find it very confusing.

Simple answer - Yes.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

No, you don't have to re-submit the same information as before.

Before, they wanted evidence of meeting within 2 years, intent to marry, proof of citizenship etc.. now they're asking for evidence for an ongoing relationship (phone bills, cards, chat logs, etc), criminal record information, medical information.. none of this was submitted before.

In London, this is not even "submitted" but taken to the final interview with you. The only thing we had to do with packet 3 was fill in some forms and send it back saying that we're ready for interview and have gathered all of the documents. You'll need to check the Guides for what to do in your Consulate.

This is for the BENEFICIARY, not the petitioner. Did your fiance recieve anything??

The information the petitioner has to fill out is about financial information, but as far as I'm aware, that's also done for the interview.

I was pointing out she would need to send,

A new letter of intent.

Proof of the ongoing relationship.

things like that, covered in the guides.

(also, she said she submitted the police report all ready, which isn't normally submitted in the initial application, which is also covered in the guides.

I should of been more clear - beer/pizza chatting don't mix well :)
