Hi Lorel,

Sorry for the PM.

I am a usc, filed for my parents GC, the case is complete since january. I have been waiting for interview schedule eversince. Now, I have started to worry, because I have no idea why it is taking so long to schedule the interview. The consular post is Abu Dhabi. Any idea why? have you encountered a case in this forum that has taken this long before interview is scheduled?

Please help

Thanks

Since you're directing something to her in public, you might want to be sure you're spelling her name correctly:

AUSSIEWENCH and LORELLE

Jen

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

If you're going to direct something to someone in public, please at least give them the respect of spelling their names correctly:

If you're seeking someone's advice personally, send them a pm... don't start a thread....

Much better option to have someone post a question etc in a separate thread so it can be replied to by any member for input rather then a PM, which is what the OP is doing albiet even if he still addressed it to an individual. Private PM's is not a good practice for anyone to get into for advice or opinions.

sam,

Contact your Consulate. The case may be there and them waiting to hear back from your parents. Mail does go astray.

Others have found that when they follow up, an interview had already been scheduled. The Consulate has your answers.
