Funny thing, opened my mailbox today and I received my fiancees embassy letter about setting appt for interview. Its no wonder so many of them never make it to the fiancees. Luckily my mail guy knows me and left it because usually if mail in US is delivered and name is not on mailbox or post office doesn't have name tagged to address they don't deliver it. :bonk:

Yep..Same thing happened to me. The letter was sent to me instead of my fiance. I called the USEM and they told me that a lot of the times the postal workers in the Philippines can't find the homes of the beneficiary especially in some of theremote provinces so they send it to the petioner.

IT'S NOT THE DESTINATION ITS THE JOURNEY...AND WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN

Yah, I thought about that too but my fiance is in Cebu, and DHL FedeX and Philippine Post office have always been able to find her except when I sent few cards with $$ through regular mail then somehow they ended up in the Pacific Ocean or Philippine Sea someplace.

As far as i read in the forum, both petitioner and beneficiary get a copy of the embassy letter. Its just sometimes, the USC copy arrives earlier than the beneficiary's copy.....(not so sure about this, my husband and myself haven't received our letters yet....)
