Yeah I just went through all of this last week. After choosing option 1, choose option 3, and then when you are there, choose option 3 again. I believe that is what I did.

I understand it's very difficult to get a live person.

You're either on hold most of the time or not trying to get a busy signal.

Press 1 for English. Then press 5 to talk to an operator.

There are prompts for you to do this.

For best results, call the NVC when they first open. M-F at 7:30am, Eastern time.

My hubby lives in Washington. so he would have to call them up at 4:30 in the morning.

Again, it's best to call them early when their call center opens.

Hope this helps.

Hey thanks all...

got some reject who basically said, we can't do anything as it's within the 6 month time frame.

Well no freaking, DUH!!??

Just wanted to see if it's actually there/being looked at or whatever as people who've sent in at the same time or whatever are getting approved or touches so...

Anyway... that's how that went...

A operator will not always put you thru to a officer. lgg follow what I sent you, and you will be able to talk to a officer WITHOUT talking to customer service.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I know it's frustrating, we called we we fell out of the 6 months time frame and they told my husband we still had 134 days left before we fell outside of the processing times....so silly!
