I submitted/mailed my application March 13 and they had encashed the check March 16 and received the NOA1 on March 20 (their letter was dated March 16). NOA2/Biometrics appointment letter arrived April 3 (the letter was dated March 27). I just had my biometrics April 17. Maybe this will get you some idea...

Hi jarl,

It can take from one week to a month depending on the workload they have and depending on your applicaiton. For a personal check normallay takes 2 weeks or so to clear because 3-5 business to clear the check and another week for them to reply to etc etc.

So hang tight if you don't hear anyting after 30 days of your filing then make an infopass appointment and inquire about your case.

Good Luck.
