so... im pretty tired to give a full review of my POE experience but what is a I551? I dont know if i'm suppose to get a I551 card. But the officers told me that i should receive it soon and that I'm going to get an appointment for my biometrics. They also said once I get the card that, that is my green card and Im permanent resident. I'm confused. the officers totally confused me. and I asked them about AOS and i thought thats when the biometrics interview is done and that I cant work until then. They said I can go to an office in Tukwila, WA and walk in(?) and apply for EAD. But they said once I receive the card, then I can start working? I'm totally confused. but I just shut my mouth and i just wanted to be on the road that I didnt ask too many questions b/c i got a stamp.lol

I-551 is the official name for a 'green card'

You know what, I would just ignore everything they said, it's just confusing and although there may be a grain of truth in there, why bother trying to decode it to see if there is :hehe:
