Hi everyone,

I just joined, and I am having trouble clarifying something. Do I have to get my medical finished before mailing back my p3 package?

No you don't. Medical has to be done for having the results for the interview not for mailing back the package.

No you do not have to have it finished, but it is best to try to arrange for it before mailing the Packet 3. Unfortunately I could not book my medical until my interview date was known because the nearest doctor is in Vancouver and i will be doing it the same time as my interview in Vancouver.

After I submitted that I actually got my P3 in the mail and it of course has it all outlined, I was just stressing out! The waiting time for an interview in Montreal is 4-6 months. I want to mail the package back as fast as I can.

It says that but it is very unlikely you'll wait that long! A bunch of us on here recently received interviews for around 2 months after we sent back the packet. Our wait for an interview was a whopping 10 weeks! Some others were less than mine.
