What is the best time to arrive for 7am interview at the US Embassy?

Can someone explain the need to arrive any more than about half an hour before your appointment? What's the advantage of waiting longer??

Nothing. All applicants would be led to the waiting area unless if the time schedule is called. When your time is called, that's the time all the applicants would go in line. It is how fast you are to go to the line that will give you the advantage.

I agree. It will just be a waste of time if you'll be there 4:00AM and you'll get in line late. My appointment was 7AM, I was there 6:30AM and I got out of the USEM 9:30AM. Good Luck on your interview!

My interview was 7am. We got there 5mins before 7am and finish the whole interview process at 9am.

You don't need to be there too early. When we arrrived at USEM those who had the 7am appointment were already inside and we didn't have to wait for us to be called to get in.

Last year there was some correlation between where you sat in the blue seats to how soon you were called on the cue.

Go the day before and ask the gaurd how busy they are this time of year.

I would think Summers are busier times for USEM.
