POE advice

not sure where to post this, but since this forum is my home, i thought id start here.

questions:

1. is there any reason to bring the copy of the I-129F for the POE? i have a copy here in the states and jamie wants to shred his copy he has with him. can i give him the go-ahead?

2. does the chest x-ray have to stay in it's envelope? what happens with it? i know it can be in your checked baggage, but do we now own it? i have one from france and i would love to have jamie's matching xray to put up on the fridge next to mine. <3

For the most part the x-ray is to see if you have TB. They read it, check you off on the form, then don't have any need for the x-ray any more. It's not like you're returning to Knightsbridge as your regular doctor, so they don't need to store your records. The embassy and the POE guys aren't medical radiologist, so they aren't going to look at it. So they pass it off to your fiance, just so you can see his heart and post it on your fridge. That x-ray is freakin' huge. It'll cover most of the door.

as a vermonter, and a vehement supporter of vermont cheese, i take great offense to this characterization. although i do think her necklace is very bling.

it would be easier for me if the xray was the same size as my french one so it would fit nicely along side it. sadly, i do not think this sort of courtesy is considered during the medical examination.

i do love my chest x-ray. wanna see? okay.
