Question on sending the AOS BILL to St.Louis

It has been mentioned that once they receive it, they send it to NVC in NH, so why can't we just send the AOS BILL straight to NVC in NH. Thanks.

As far as I am aware, the cheque/money order is cashed at St Louis and they notify NVC when that has been done.

No. You can't.

For the same reason that you don't send your credit card payments to the bank's office - they have set up a payment center for the express purpose of receiving payments, depositing the money, and crediting your account.

You can do it, but processing the payment will be slower than doing it the way they've set up to expedite the process and invites them to make a mistake.
