Do I need to schedule an infopass appointment for EAD?

Funds are dwindling here (I know a lot of you are in the same boat!) and I do need to get a job asap... My NOA 1 was dated 3rd May and I had my biometrics done 21st June and the 90 days from NOA 1 will be 2nd July and my local office is St. Paul, MN.

Do you think I need to get an infopass appointment to request a interim EAD for a date after 2nd July or would you wait untill 2nd July has passed and then shedule an appointment?

-15/08/08 Green Card recieved, good till 2018!!!

Why not schedule it? If you get it before your appointment day (assuming you would take one for July 3rd, 5th, or later), no harm no foul :) At least you'll have the appt. and should get the iEAD.

Infopass appointment made 7/27, earliest date 8.10 @ 1PM

Infopass found that NBC lost our 131 photos, it was approved on 7/10!

They are using 485 photos to process the 131 and should have sent it

out to us on 8/11 --- RECEIVED AP 8/18 !! whoohoo

Appointment notice rec'd 7/28, GC interview 9/19 @ 1PM

APPROVED, given a 1 year stamp - told the card would be mailed right away :)

Rec'd 2yr conditional GC 10 days after interview :)

Actually 90 days would be on August 1... July 3 would only be 61 days...

Nicola, I am also waiting for my EAD although Jon does work, money is just ok, I need to work for my sanity if you understand how I feel, the money would also come in handy. I seem to remember reading something about EAD and info passes. Something about waiting for the 90th day and then making it. I am sure someone will correct me.

Hi Nicola,

I'm roughly two weeks ahead of you, see my timeline, and also going through St. Paul, MN.

We received the interview "invitation" about two weeks ago, and the interview is scheduled for August 2nd, 2006. No news on my EAD so far, either.

Don't know if they stop processing the EAD once an interview is scheduled?

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is St. Paul seems to be pretty fast with scheduling interviews, hang in there!
