Maybe you mean broken hearted. My first marriage was that way and don't know why in the hell I married her in the first place, but my marriage IQ was less than 2 at the time with some strange belief that the sacrament of Holy Matrimony would cure all that.

But go by the premise, if you walk into a cave and something in there pounds the ####### out of you, you were ignorant, but if you walk in again, you are stupid. What I am trying to say, is that there are signals, doubts, jealousies, unequalnesses, other other subtleties that occur during the dating phase that may go on unnoticed that lead into major problems after the marriage. One important dead give away I learned is that one or the other party is pushing for a relationship, found myself guilty of that. In a true relationship, neither party has to push, it just happens.

Regarding your friend, his he the sponsoring USC citizen? Could be fraud if he is.

I think it would depend very much on the state of the relationship prior to the "cheating", how long it had been going on and whether there was a sincere desire to move forward.

Of course given that so much emotion is riding on it - I think its hard to say for sure how anyone would react.

No looking back. No apologies, no nothing.

I always use this example:

You go to the fridge to get some milk. You pour some out into a cup. It's bad. Do you:

A. Put it back in and hope it gets better? :blink:

B. Throw it away and get a new bottle of milk? :thumbs:

I always pick B. Simply because you all ready had your trust broken, and you will always, always think about that.

I have enough problems in my life to continue that.

Now, Umit, said she would kill me if I cheated on her.... Sooooooo.

I won't cheat.... :innocent:

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
