Hello guyz...a friend of mine got a problem....it is a hassle for her and to her husband as well.

..somebody used her yahoo messenger,her email ad and another account

it because when she chat in her husband...she suddenly knocked offline and she was sign in again

few minutes lapse she knocked offline again... and vice versa.And then her husband called her what

happen...and she told him about it...but her husband surprise cuz her ym is back and chatting to him

even though they are talking on the phone at the same time.Her husband decided to talk the girl who used

her ym.and my friend and her sister open her account and chat her husband while her husband talking to the girl.

Her husband always asking to see on cam but the girl always refuse.To make long story short,the girl threat

my friend husband to destroy their marriage.

Anybody can identify who use her ad/ym?If she used another ID can we trace up who she is?

My friend afraid it because the girl can make another ID then she can used my friend picture

and chat with different guys ...and she can used against my friend.

Any info are appreciated.

Your friend's problem is so SIMPLE!make another account para wala ng manggulo....kahit expert kami sa computer.its not easy to unhacked an account.

Gumawa nalang kayo ng bagong YM account para wala ng manggulo...okai?!!

sometimes if the internet connection is bad YM or any messenger will automatically sign off. but since you are pretty sure somebody's using her IM then better make another account.

You can't really log in using the same yahoo ID in different computers at the same time so i was thinking how'd your friend chat with her husband while the other girl was using her yahoo ID at the same time? Even if you try to use meebo.com to sign in to yahoo, and in the other computer sign in using the actual messenger, it still wont work.

As for your concern, just IGNORE that person.. you have 2 options: 1. change yahooID and be careful not to disclose your password to ANYBODY 2. if you wanna keep the old yahoo ID, just change your password. Try to think of a password that is difficult to guess, but not difficult for you to remember.

i can only see 1 problem here, if the person who tried to hack your yahooID 'knows' you, this means he/she knows your bdate, your zipcode and the answer to your yahoo security question, most probably he'll/she'll hack your yahooID again in the future if that person's aim is to really ruin your life. We can't do anything about your bdate and zipcode, but you can choose a tricky security question.

If i were in your shoes, i'll choose option 2. It's safer. Change your security question that only YOU knows the answer..

my ym account got hacked before.. hubby got it back for me.

i think there's an option there for forgot password, it will send you an instruction on how to log in again on your alternative email.

anyhoo, i suggest wag pag-aksayahan ng panahon ang nag-hahack. Just inform all your friends that you are no longer using the account since xxx date and that somebody hacked into your account. ask them not to release any info about you or your hubby. Create another account and make sure it's REALLY different from the other one that got hacked. Example: Old account is ganda1; DO NOT make a new account named ganda2!!! That will confuse people.. and they may inadvertently give out your info to the wrong person thinking that both are one and the same account. Make it BEAUTY instead. Gets???

It is highly unlikely that you're dealing with a hacker.

I would suggest having her husband send her a copy of the text from the chat with this person. read the text and try to familiarize yourself with the grammatical errors or other keys that are in the text. She should be able to discover who it is that way.

You may still use the same YM account but change the password of your YM and of your email account. Use the same password for both, email and YM. In that way, that fraudulent user can no longer use your YM account and you can still use it.

Next time you use the YM, do not activate the button of "always online" or "remain online" because you will be susceptible of that kind of fraud. If you also use computer in internet cafes, do not activate the button that allows the computer to remember your password.

-- On the contrary, puede ka pa rin mag log-in sa YM using another computer/celfone using the same account, what it will do is it will log-out the other active session from another computer or device. I'm pretty sure with that coz i do that all the time. Log in from my celfone, then it will log out from my computer. Or log in another computer, without logging out from previous sessions.

Working in the IT industry, just beware of having someone access to your personal email. nakakatakot yan. My advice is try to create another account and then change all your accounts tied to that email address, that the other person has gained access on. For example, bank accounts, friendster, myspace, and other internet accounts that have your previous email linked to it. You need to change it right away to another email na ikaw lang ang nakakaalam ng password. Be careful not to give out your password and make your security questions when creating the account a little bit hard to guess. And when creating password, you can put like characters in it too... For example, if you want lets say your password to be Ganda - probably you can change it to 6@nd@. Replace the letter a into a character that looks like an a, para mas strong i-decipher. mga ganun... tapos i really recommend you make it longer. at least 8 characters. Pag nagawa mo na ito, its just a matter of unahan mo yung person na yun to change the password while you still can. Kung ako, I will close that account already as soon as mapalitan ko na yung lahat ng bank accounts, friendster, etc, associated to that email address. reason for that is when changing the primary email, it may need some confirmation for some. And I will make it a priority!!! I will not wait another day to postpone it.

If you really want to find out who it is, for me i think it's not really worth it. You have to be careful though because this may be someone who is jealous of you or who knows you or maybe who is close to you.

She may contact 'Yahoo customer care' and report the problem and if she still have access to the account, she should change her password ASAP.If all else fails, then make a new account.

What i was trying to say was that, the owner and the hacker could not be online at the same time. If the owner is logged in and hacker logs in, the owner will automatically logs out from yahoo and vice versa.. Whoever logs in last will get the access.. you can log in to yahoo using any computer that has internet access but 2 people could not be able to log in using the same yahoo ID at the same time.
