ds3032-scanned and email-sent from USA -acceptable?

i was think for choice of agent if my spouse fills up the form scans emails it to me .then i print and send from usa will nvc accept it .i read that foam doesn't give email as option is emailing this foam available to everyone ?

I think what you means is you wanted to scan the DS-3032 and send it to your spouse in the U.S. who would send it to NVC, correct?

You don't need to do that, you can just write them an email with all your info, here is a template of how you should do it.

yes -to scan copy of this ds-3032-email it to my spouse in the usa then use express mail to send it i thought that will be faster that fedex from here if its allowed but thanks for clearing the air i will email it to them.

I emailed an attachment of the scanned filled in form. NVC accepted it. I think they would accept an express mailed scanned copy too, you could email the attachment and express mail it too.

Hi Ms Mariah and other VJ friends..

I just sent back my DS-3032 trough email but I'm tempted to print it (DS-3032) out, sign it, scan and send it to my hubby's email and ask him to send it by regular mail. But I'm afraid that will cause a RFE for us if they realize it's a scanned signature.. What do you think guys? Thanks.

Technically if you mail a copy of the DS-3032 to the NVC, it should have an original signature! Maybe if you sign in blue ink, and print it in color, you will have a better chance. You can email directly from the chinese email address, in the format from wiki shortcuts. Sometimes they want the beneficiary's email used, I think it can be hit or miss, depending on the agent processing the form. They are outside contractors and some take their instructions very literally. What ever email is used by the beneficiary, to send the DS-3032, should be used for all correspondence from then on. If you are going to scan and send via email, I would email it directly to the NVC, and then mail the scanned copy here in the US also. Good Luck, Mike & Yizhen

I spoke to a NVC officer last night about the AOS bill and I also asked if we needed to send the DS3032 by snail mail if we had emailed it to NVC, The officer told me that the DS3032 in email form sent from either of the email addresses on file is acceptable and no we did not need to mail the hard copy as well.

So we are just going with the emailed DS3032 and hope for the best.

Interview packet says that if u sent any scanned document to NVC then you must bring the original document to ur interview.So apparently they do accept scanned documents.But haven't tried it yet and won't suggest it to anyone.....Just wanted to share it though

All I did was write a email with all the info, Name, date of Birth, case number, email address for both myself and my parents and emailed it to NVC for both my parents it did not matter that it came from my email address. I never sent anything by snail mail to them and I had no problems.

Just type it in the email. you dont need to attach anything. You can use the template here on VJ. You will find it in the wiki under the NVC section.
