Dima passed his K1 interview in Warsaw today. They took his paperwork and called him in a few hours later. The officer asked nothing of our relationship and didn't ask for or look at any of our evidence. He offered how we met and she said "love at first sight!" She told him the paperwork was perfect. Thanks to VJ for that! He picks up the visa tomorrow morning. Now for POE....

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

So exciting isn't it! Does he speak English? The POE wasn't bad at all...a guy in front of us from Nigeria got grilled because he said the purpose of him coming to the US on his immigrant visa was to visit...WRONG ANSWER!!! The officer who talked to us didn't even ask us anything, just did our paperwork on the computer and then handed him his passport with the I-94 stapled in it and told us to get married within 90 days. Already done with that part :)
