Wrong Appointment letter?

My orginal interview for the dublin embassy was May 18th but I was able to get an earlier date set for April 27th. The embassy sent me another p4 BUT with the same date of May 18th printed on it. I have called dos to confirm that the interview is set for April 27th but can't get the embassy on the phone yet. Do you think I will have a problem getting in? I know last time I went there the security called the imig unit up and talked with them in person.

Yes, one of the reasons why people should not change appointment dates - to many issues like this.

It's a toss up if they will let you in with the old date on the new date (if that makes sense?).

I would make sure to contact a live person in the embassy to get the ok!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

We changed appointment date twice.. If the embassy sent you a confirmation letter when you changed the appointment schedule to an earlier date then that would not be a problem.. Just bring both confirmations (May 18 and April 27) with you during the interview date.. Goodluck! :star:

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

I just got an email from the embassy, they said to just go to the interview even if I don't have it. The orginal appointment date is enough to prove I have a case and interview at that embassy, everything about the switch can be taken care of with a simple phone call from security :) But I will still print the letter from the embassy and take with me.
