My wife will be going for her medical exam soon, and we were wondering what we can expect cost wise? She has record of vaccinations, and were wondering what other kind of vaccinations they may give her. She also takes medication for a thyroid condition and was wondering if the doctor would write her a prescription for what she takes or if we should have it mailed fro m her homeland?

My husband had to have his vaccinations done a few weeks ago. One was MMR and he doesn't remember the other two. There will be blood tests and the TB test. I think his cost about $350-400, but if you don't need the vaccinations it will be less.

I'm not sure if he will prescribe the medication or not since he's not your normal doc.

Good luck,

Shelly

We just had my husbands medical exam on friday and picked up the papers yesterday.

Our medical exam consisted of a 20 minute appt on friday, they gave my husband a Tetnis shot, Mumps, measels and rhubella vaccination, a TB test and took blood to do an HIV & syphellus test.

We went back yesterday he was there about 10 minutes and they gave us a copy of the papers and the sealed envelope with the documents to send back for immigration.

Very Non-invasive, very painless, and very little time involved. ( on both occasions we were the ONLY People in the waiting room )

I think we may have been very fortunate, don't know if it varies by what country you come from, but ours was fast painless and is now on its way to Immigration.

Hope this helps

Much luck & happiness to you

by the way ours was $280 US dollars

I think it is standard and what country you are from has nothing to do with it. If you have vaccination records that would change what shots they give you.
