I just filed the DS 156 and on the page 3, the previous visits are not written as I wanted, it cuts in the middle the phrase like:

MULTIPLE VISITS FROM CANADA BETWEEN

FEBRUARY 2008 AND OCTOBER 2008

NOV 2007 TO JAN 2008,

10 WEEKS

AUG 2007 TO SEPT 2007, 3 WEEKS

AUG 2004 T

O JULY 2007, UNDER J1 VISA

Should I re-do it?

It's the second time already because the first time, I had written the previous visits under the refusals category :s

I know mine turned out horrible too, I had them nicely spaced but then the supplemental form screwed them all up. It also did not let me enter as many visits as I have had. Kept on hitting enter and it would go nowhere! I listed them on the DS-230 and then had an attachment to it with all the visits...maybe that is good enough? LOL I had 3 attachments to the DS-230 when I faxed it in.

Delete this. Print it. Hand write this part in, neatly and legibly. The DS156 can be printed, hand written or any combination thereof, as long as it is legible

can it be half typed half written?

Looking at the DS-156 it has a barcode on the first page and on the third (supplemental). Does the consulate scan this document at the interview? If so, the handwritten information on the supplemental sheet would not show up? And the interviewer would have to enter it manually?

i understand, but to avoid any possible delays, just slowly fill out the form with a pen...

Maybe I'll do it again tomorrow and if it's not nice, I'll hand write the additional visits.

It seems I can do it as many time as I want, it just gives me a new barcode each time.

I just checked mine...I've never seen that before actually. On mine it shows it like that, too:

February 2007, approx. one month

De

cember 2006, approx. one month February 2006, approx

. six months May 2002, approx. two weeks July 1994,

approx. 4 weeks July 1992, approx. 4 weeks

I even haven't seen it and just turnded it in like that. Nobody ever said anything, and I got my K-1. You put that information on so many forms, I don't think it gives you any problems. The German embassy didn't give me any problems and I don't think the French one will... The more interesting thing for them is if you ever got denied a visa, anyway.

As long as all your information is in der somehow they will figure it out.

I just noticed I always forgot to mention my trip to NY in 2001, which was under another passport....

Should I add it?

Im going to Montreal by the way becasue im leaving in Canada
