Just a quickie here as i tried to look but running out of time before i need to run out. when do we need evidence of the relationship and bonified marriage .. is that when we apply for the AOS or do we just need that for our interview .. the instructions do not mention any evidence and I'm having a hard time getting a SSN without an EAD so if i don't need the evidence stuff right away that would be a bonus..becase i cannot do much without a SSN... any help would be appreciated :)

The only relationship-oriented evidence you need to submit with the AOS is the marriage certificate - anything else you can bring to the interview (if you get one).

Case by case. Longer you've waited to apply for AOS the more evidence you should have. Some people wait 2 years and should have a pile!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

The question was "What to submit with the I-485/AOS versus what to hold on to bring to the interview." For a K1 entrant - the proof required initially is that the marriage took place (hence, marriage certificate) this shows the K1 Visa requirements were followed (i.e., married the correct person and did so within 90 days of entering the US).

Follow the guides (Assembling the I-485 Package: Checklist) and you should be just fine.
