Teenager Issues

I agree that is totally unacceptable.

I don't care if my daughter HATES me for it, there are going to be very strict boudaries as to boys coming in the house AND there would never be any boy sleepovers! This was my opinion even before I met my very strict Muslim husband.

I have 2 daughters from my first marriage and despite how easy going and laid back this society has become with teenage relationships I am not as laid back about it.

What would happen if and when your SO would have a child?

As a father of a soon to be 17 year old I'd rather she have a safe place for such activities regardless of how much I don't want to hear it.

I don't understand why people keep saying you'd rather have her have sex in a safe place....than what? Regardless of where you are having sex, doesn't change anything. You can get raped just as easily in your own home as you can out in a park.

That to me is the same things parents say ab out drinking. They let their kids drink and do drugs in their own house because, "if they are going to do it...might as well do it here with me..."

Like, are you serious? I'm only 25 and I think that is disgusting. I drank a whole ###### load when I was underage but not with my parents and...we were all just fine and turned out okay.
