Ok so I purchased the pin, which you can use a lot more than 3 times, talked to the operator and she tells me you do not even need to buy the pin because they schedule your appointment and put the date in the letter that they send to the beneficiary. So why not tell people this so we wont waste 20 bucks? Anyway I would just like to know how other people got their interview date, because I have been told I can not call and schedule.

Yup, you just spend your 4 value meals from Burger King, anyway of course they wont tell you that, thats how they get some money from us. I have friends that paid Document Verification fee in DBO which is no longer required cuz she filed for CR1 but she paid and its nonrefundable fee.

I think as long you already have your case # you can call the embassy to make appointment specially if its almost 3 weeks and still didnt recieve your packet. That's what my husband did before... He just printed out online all the DS forms and sent it to me and called embassy to set appointment coz we never recieve any packet just the noticed of apporval and case #.

Armywife, the NVC schedules IR1 and CR1 visas at USEM. It is the K visas that are required to call.

A local person who we have been helping with their K1 visa just called last week and got an appointment.

Maybe the CSR was wrong or maybe the rules are changing again. The USEM website still states that all K visas must call.

Since you are a K-1 Visa applicant, you should call the USEM for an interview appointment. I say this because, sometimes, the USEM letter never arrives in your fiancée's hand. That is what happened to my fiancée...they never sent her the letter. In any case, it is much faster to call them rather than wait for the letter.

since you're a k1, and got your pin number,,call now the embassy and get your appointment schedule..don't wait for the appointment letter to arrive at your Fiancee',..well, I'm here now in United States and until now no appoinment letter receive at my home in Philippines.

that 20 bucks for getting a pin number, is a three times call available,.my Fiance just used one call..it's worth it though.

goodluck.
