Hello Everybody,

I just received my NOA2(APPROVAL) notice 2 weeks ago. Today I called the NVC number and I have also gotten my spouse's case number as well, now they say on the automated machine to allow 6-8 weeks for NVC to contact your beneficiary via mail about the NVC number and process. However, I have been hearing on this thread that I can make the process faster by e-mailing or speaking to one of the reps of NVC to request the DS-3032 form via e-mail and send it back to them completed via e-mail as well. Is that really beneficial???. I am a US Citizen and live in the USA so do I fill one out and email back to NVC or I will have to have my wife fill one out and have her e-mail back to NVC. I am in the NVC process now and I know its a critical phase so I would appreciate some guidance for sure.

The other question I have is I live with my parents and I have no other dependents here in the USA. My annual salary is 35k, is it reaosonable for my dad cosign with me to fill out the I-864 AFFADAVIT OF SUPPORT FORM since his salary is much higher than mines or is it ok I can fill it out individually.

And now that my case has been approved, what should I expect to happen in the next few weeks. Do I get some mail or my wife overseas will have to get her documents ready. Thank you.

Good Luck to everybody and I wish everyone comes together with their loved ones soon. Cheers....

Call NVC and give them yours and your wifes emails, it will speed things up. The DS-3032 form is available to send by email, your wife must email it. It benefits you by a couple of days if you already have a DS-3032 signed by your wife, or saves you a couple of WEEKS if you don't have a signed one.

Your salary is PLENTY to be sole sponsor of your wife. I make less than you and have to claim 3 children and I am the sole sponsor.

Use the following short cuts to help you through the process they are FABULOUS!

I haven't read the shortcuts she gave you. However, personally, after all I went through... I would send the original DS230 along with the ORIGINALS of birth certificate, police certificate and marriage certificate. I was so excited just like you, but I tried to speed things up and ended up making things take so much longer. When they said they wanted a copy of the original.. I sent a copy of the originals, instead of the originals and then I had to mail the others, but didn't wait until I got the RFE and I emailed an attached PCC to make sure they had it sooner, but what happened was my completion date went from Nov 20 to Dec 1. Be careful to follow all the procedures on the website. I had been told a few things by the operators at the NVC that let us get through the NVC, but prompted two RFEs at the interview. I am sure you will not have the problems with the RFEs at the interview like we did... But... if it were me, especially with what happened to me, I would just express mail the originals to the NVC. Good luck with everything! :)
