Our application was sent Fedex next day last Monday with the new forms...unfortunately, we had to send ours to Nebraska....which probably means that we are just going to be transfered to CSC. :S Oh well...beyond my control. Other downfall is that my fiance travels a lot for work so we may not know from day to day where our application is in the process....just hoping that we get lucky and sail through the system with ease....lol...I'm eternally optimistic btw

Have you signed up to check the status of your case online? Email updates? This might help... but I have read of cases where petitions were sent to the NVC with no status update noted, so it's not foolproof, but it's a start.

Best wishes for a swift journey -

Jen

May sound like a dumb question but how do you sign up to check your case status online? I was under the impression that we needed to receive our NOA1 first. I believe that Daniel included his email address on the application somewhere  I know it's going to be hard for him to be checking very often since he is travelling so much for work but he has been very diligent with checking to see if they've cashed our cheque. just keeping my fingers crossed for now. And I (hopefully, as long as they are nice at customs) get to see him this weekend :P I have a letter from my employer, a return ticket and my lease all ready to go so it should be good I hope!

June 19th, 2006 - I129-F sent via Fedex (courtesy of my Honey's work) to arrive using next day delivery

Mid- July - Found out I129-F never left his company but is lost there.....need to gather and try again

August 2006 - Still waiting...maybe not the I-129F route anymore

Go here: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

and register.

And because the next question will be "how do I know if I get touched?"...

Your "last updated" date will change, which may, or may not, generate an email to the email address you have on file with them....

Good luck!

No. You can register.

Once you finish registering in the system its going to ask you to give them a receipt #...... Once we get our NOA1 then we will type in that reciept # there and that is how we'll be able to follow our cases online. For now I just left that part blank since I do not have one yet.....

I did that too. I have an account all set up...but no actual case. The things VJers will do to be as proactive as possible...
