HI

I need Help

I just got married and I dont have SSN yet

Can I get ssn after mariage, and for the mean time I am a K-1 visa holder

MY I-94 will be expire this april 23,2009 .

SSA office tell us I need to get EAD before I can get my SSN ..

if I cant get the SSN after my I-94 will expire .. Do I still eligible to apply SSn next time ?

You waited too long to apply for the SSN because it's too close to your I-94 expiraton. Once you get the EAD, then you can go back and apply. Or you can wait for your green card, then apply.

K-1 Visa Holders do not need an EAD to apply for SS#. The clerk at the SS Office is totally WRONG !......

Print this page & take it with you. I've got it directly from SSA web page here you go :

SS# for K-1 VISA Holders

GOOD LUCK !.......
