Is my english accomplice Krikit here?

It's cockney rhyming slang for *uck all :)

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I hope you have a chance to read through the guides here as they are very helpful. Most of the documents required (birth certs, police checks etc... all have to be gotten by you and cannot be done on your behalf anyway. It a little paperwork, but nothing you can't handle. No worse then basic taxes - but less math!

After seeing people's posts here - lawyers slow things up and they cannot make the process faster - everyone has to wait their ugly turn in this process.

I think it would be a waste of money and no more peace of mind then doing it yourself.

Maybe we should have started a 'why you shouldn't use a lawyer thread' :hehe:

Lol, good idea.

I think someone should create a website that has a database of lawyer reviews (good and bad). Based on my personal experiance its a legal jungle out there where people are constantly being taken advantage of. This profession is by nature well protected and it is very difficult to get justice from any lawyer's wrong doing.

Well I think most of us have said the same thing...they just weren't necessary!
