Medical Exam

just a quick question...do you need to have an interview letter in order to make the Medical exam appointment?? We have not yet got a letter, but I will be in Vancouver at the end of May and I am thinking "save another trip and book the appointment for that time". Is there a window of time allowed between getting the exam and having the interview????

I think all you need is the case number that you get once it reaches the National Visa Centre. You need to bring in one of the letters that states what your case number is. Since you are a CR-1 applicant you would have a Montreal #.

Best way to book an appointment with the Vancouver clinic is to email them.

They asked for a copy of my letter from the consulate with the case number on it before they would proceed with my medical. You can always call and ask where your having your medical done at. I believe it is a requirement that they have your case number.

Yes, in Toronto they wanted to see your interview letter or the front page of your packet 3 before entering the examination office. When I called to make a reservation, they said this was because they wanted a document with your name, case number, and address on it. They may make exceptions, as long as you have a case number. I would call and ask!
