According to the FAQ:

- Fee $45 USD for EACH visa in the form of postal money order or a certified

check payable to the US Treasury. Personal checks or cash NOT accepted.

That sounds low to me. According to the fees page, it's $335 for the visa application and $45 for the visa surcharge. There's also a visa petition fee of $170, but I don't think that applies, since your husband has already filed a visa petition for you.

Salwapasserby,

The visa application fee is US$100 or the equivalent in the local currency. Didn't your interview notification package give you information about how the fee is to be paid?

rclouse,

You are writing about the immigrant visa application fees, which are paid to the NVC long before the case goes to the consulate for interview.

Salwapasserby appears to be readying for a K3 visa interview.
