:ot: ok so i have done everything correctly( so far i have been approved and all)

but i just called the visa center to find out if my packet had arrived and they said it did. they said the embassy has it and they had not yet send it ouot to my fiance. should i send them a fax with the forms or should i just wait. i am so confused i do not want to screw up. thanks

do i need to fax AND send via (servientrega)? thanks

Fax? don't fax anything that requires your signature on it. (they want original signatures).

Have you checked their website? Some embassies allow anyone to download the packet of forms to fill out.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Each Consulate can be very different in how they handle the information packet (aka Packet 3). This link should help you understand how things work in Bogota a little better. There is also contact information so you can contact them directly with any questions or concerns you might have.

Absolute fax it! Thats what I did and we had an interview date within 5 days. My wife's interview and she still has not recieved the packet 3. After you fax it you can call the DOS and they can verify that your information was received abd that the packet went out.
