Hoping someone can tell me what this means.

Email on 14, June 2006

Embassy records indicate that the Immigration Visa Unit completed the administrative processing of your CR-1 visa application forms on June 12. You should receive notification of an interview appointment date within the next six to eight weeks.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

The Immigrant Visa Unit can confirm receipt of the completed forms. There is currently a delay before we can complete action on your husband's case and notify him of the appointment date and time. Your husband can expect to receive written confirmation of the date and time of your appointment within approximately 4 weeks.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

A delay? WTH? IMO there has been enough of a delay already! It isn't saying they aren't giving us an interview so a bit confused here. Does this mean someone is on a little hiatus or what?

IIRC, that's the standard "we have your paperwork and are taking our sweet time" letter they send everyone who asks. We got it when we got to the interview stage.

:crying: The old hurry up and wait!

Yeah just hang in there. Take my advice thoguh and never call the embassy. I have called all 3 numbers i have found. One was in Glasgow and one was totally automated. The main Embassy number got me a human briefly but she said "well you need immigration then" and transferred me back to the automated bit despite none o fthose automated bits being of any help with my problem.

So yeah i am pretty annoyed right now too. I have my interview date but can`t get my medical. The line is busy. What fun.

Chin up though. :P
