For those not even letting Obama a chance lacks intelligence. For those who think they are better than Obama, and can lead a whole nation you can spill out your strength against Obama. Cause and Effect on a time scale within Government manifests very slowly. Unless you micro-manage every pieces of government yourself.

In the military if you take over for a bad commander you get about 6 months to blame them for a screwed up unit & then after that it's on you. Changing the course of an entire country takes a lot more time... realistically you should expect some improvement in about a year & more over the course of Obama's first term. So to answer the question if the country isn't in better shape by 2012 then vote in someone else.
